US Retains Full Control of Iraq

US intervention in Iraq is likely to continue for the foreseeable future following an apparently successful attempt at securing a carefully selected 'puppet' government. The hitherto unfamiliar name and face of Ghazi Yawer now being subjected to a high profile media campaign presenting him as the 'democratic' face of Iraq. Mr. Yawer had previously spent time at the Georgetown University in Washington.

However, the unrelenting resistance from the Iraqi people who stand by the principle of Iraqi sovereignty is real and is likely to threat US ambitions for Iraq despite the on-going presence of the huge US arsenal and infantry in the region.

US Torture and Human Abuses Finally Caught on Camera

Evidence of large scale human rights abuses is finally being circulated through the global media - there appears to be no other route to justice for the Iraqi people.

The pictures show various forms of human abuse and humiliation of Iraqi people. Some pictures showed naked men either handcuffed or being dragged with a leash on the neck by US officials.

The majority of the pictures are said to be from Abu Ghraib prison but the American policy of torture, humiliation and cold blooded killings is likely to be widespread as it was in Afghanistan.

The pictures were purportedly passed around by military police at the prison. This 'freedom' of perversity is not unusual either in militarised zones. The Indian army in Kashmir have also been found to have committed similar offences.

George Bush appeared to be uneasy on finding the evidence has been fed back to the US public and suggested that such policies were inconsistent with the 'Free world'.

It is becoming clearer by the day that the US has waged war not on a mutant puppet (Sadam Hussein) but on the people of Iraq. It is also easier to see why the Iraqis are retaliating so strongly against the invasion of their sovereignty.

Innocent Worshippers Killed at Mosque in Fallujah

US Helicopters attacked and killed some 50 Iraqi civilians who were gathered for prayer at the Abdul-Aziz al-Samarrai mosque in Fallujah.

Earlier there were reports of 16 women and 8 children killed when US aircraft mercilessly attacked and destroyed four houses. Civilian killings have been reported in several US-led assaults

The continued attacks on innocent Iraqis is further emphasising the belief that this is a war against the people of Iraq and not a war of 'liberation' as the propaganda campaign originally claimed.

Unrest is continuing throughout Iraq as the US invasion forces this week lost control of several cities and admits its heaviest losses this year - US casualties are estimated at around 100 since the beginning of the week.

US Torture Camps 'were for real'

Five British prisoners illegally held in US torture camps in Guantanamo were declared innocent and released today after more than 2 years of incarceration. They revealed that the camps were used as an experiment of various interrogation and torturing techniques. The five released were Rhuhel Ahmed, Terek Dergoul , Jamal al Harith, Asif Iqbal and Shafiq Rasul.

The tactics used by the US government further illustrate the lack of respect towards humanity and the absence of a democratic approach towards foreign nationals.

It is not known how many others have suffered the same or worse fate. Obviously, victims of serious torture who retain their sanity are not likely to be released to tell the tale.

One of the problems in safeguarding Human rights is that the global public continue to be mesmerised by the co-operative media who continue to stick to labelling such as "suspected terrorists" and "Al-Qaeda suspects".

As members of the public we are not trained to throw these straight back at the media and say "wait a minute, suspected terrorist does not exclude 100% innocence and is effectively nothing more than saying we don't like the look of this guy". It is unlikely that innocent victims like those released today will ever see the US state as anything short of an epicentre of terror.

The US again appears to be accountable to no-one and based on its dictatorial approach since 11th September, is no longer regarded as the flagship of democracy.

For the Love of Murder

More evidence of the barbaric policies of the US became public today as photographs were revealed of US soldiers smiling with approval over the dead body of an Iraqi civilian recently murdered following 'interrogation'.

Photographs such as these showing complete disrespect for human life, are often used by perverted elements of the military. In one picture the perverse act was carried out by US official Charles Graner. In another photo also released today the role of evil was attributed to a Sabrina Harman. Murder carries a maximum penalty of life but in these cases, according to US policies, the maximum penalty is likely to be no more than one year's imprisonment.

The photographs have not been displayed in full detail out of respect for the innocent victim - said to be Manadel al-Jamadi.

The policies of the US in Iraq do appear to be consistent with genocide and it is likely that further evidences will bare this out. The US is not new to genocide: hundreds of thousands of Iraqis have already lost there lives since the ruthless attacks on Iraq, constantly supported by Britain and other European nations, began more than a decade ago. Prior to that, the US role in the genocides in the former Yugoslavia and the killing fields of Vietnam are well documented. In fact the America of today was founded upon genocide of the indigenous population.

So why do we regard America as the land of liberalism and freedom? Not least because they control the consistent but hypocritical images that circulate through our minds - whether through news channels, make believe movies, glossy magazines or popular music. From another perspective, many would regard actions such as these as the ultimate freedom - freedom to kill: a doctrine that was once followed by Adolf Hitler.

The world's leading nation openly carrying out abuses to fellow man is not an example the moral and more tolerant nations of the world will be looking to follow.

Fahrenheit 9/11 Screened at Cannes Film Festival

Michael Moore's openly critical documentary which threatened to open up the mystery behind the events of September 11th 2001 makes it to the Cannes film festival but the film which is regarded as too open and provocative by some has been effectively banned by Walt Disney who control the film producer Miramax Films. The film also explores the symbiotic relationship between George Bush and the family of Osama Bin Laden.

Bush and Blair Deny Torture was Part of Strategy in Iraq

Neither George Bush nor his UK counterpart were prepared to admit that the torturing and abuse of Iraqis was a part of the strategy that lead to the invading forces capturing control of Iraq. When the invading armies discovered by shock that the Iraqi people were not as anti-Sadam and 'pro-liberation' as they had been lead to believe it appears that a change of strategy was rapidly formulated.

Using tactics similar to those used in Afghanistan previously, thousands of Iraqis were rounded up, imprisoned, abused, tortured and in some cases put to death.

George Bush has so far remained defensive. Both he and Blair have quickly admitted that they were aware of the human abuses carried out by their troops: apart from inside information, Amnesty International had also detailed this though their reports appear to have been successfully shielded from the media.

Russian 'Puppet' in Chechnya Assasinated in Stadium Blast

Pro-Russian President of Chechnya, Akhmad Kadyrov, was killed with several others when a bomb was detonated at a sports stadium in Grozny. Other members of the Russian appointed Chechen government including Khusein Isayev and Eli Isayev, finance minister were also reported killed in the same incident.

The killings are thought to be a reponse to extrajudicial killings and other autocratic activities carried out by the Kremlin appointed government and its 'security service'.

Mr Kadyrov had been appointed president last year through highly suspect elections which were widely criticised as fraudulent. The late president was particularly suited to the Kremlin because of his anti-Islamic standpoint.
